'NCIS' season 13 spoilers: Tony DiNozzo becomes a victim of identity theft in episode 20

Fans are going to miss this week's episode of "NCIS," but when it returns next week, Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) faces trouble as he becomes a victim of identity theft.
According to the synopsis for episode 20 titled "Charade," Tony's identity has been stolen by suspects who are now posing as the agent and blackmailing senators. This may ruin Tony's reputation unless he and the team figure out fast who's behind the crime.
"Charade" is just one of the episodes that focuses on the goofy character as he is approaching the end of his last season on the show.
Last week, Robert Wagner appeared on the show as Tony's father. In the episodes leading to the season finale, fans should expect that "NCIS" will have more screen time for the character.
According to CarterMatt, Tony's identity being stolen could be one of the reasons for his departure from the NCIS team. However, this only remains as speculation and anything can happen at this point. Fans will just have to continue tuning in to the show to see how Tony's exit will play out.
Meanwhile, great news for "NCIS" fans since the show has been renewed for two more seasons.
On Monday, CBS announced that the show has been extended for the next two years, which means fans don't have to worry about the show's fate until then. "It's extraordinary that in its 13th season and with over 300 episodes to its credit, NCIS continues to excel at such a high level on a global scale," Glenn Geller, CBS Entertainment president, said in a statement.
Geller credits the compelling cast headed by Mark Harmon, who plays Gibbs, as well as the writers led by Gary Glasberg, who create interesting storylines that never fail to capture the audiences.
Catch the next episode of "NCIS" season 13 on April 5, Tuesday, 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
