It was another win this week for television's fictional NCIS team as the show had Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs' team solve a cold case. Next week, it may well be another win (it almost always is, except for two-parters with cliffhanger episodes) but Agent Tony DiNozzo may be headed for a feeling of loss.

In "Saviors," next week's episode of "NCIS," Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) encounters his ex-girlfriend once again. But no, it's not what fans have hoped for (they've been rallying for Cote de Pablo's Ziva to make a comeback), but it's still an intriguing one.

Scottie Thompson is reprising her role as Jeanne Benoit in episode eight of the police procedural drama "NCIS." Fans of the show will remember that their relationship had been a rocky one, with them meeting while DiNozzo was investigating her father's involvement in arms dealing. When Jeanne's dad died, she even accused DiNozzo of murder.

Intense, indeed. Seven years later, they meet again. And Jeanne is now married to a volunteer doctor. But with an unfinished business between the two, will sparks fly again? Or will it be as heated as right before they parted ways?

The ex-lovers will meet in Sudan, where DiNozzo and Tim McGee (Sean Murray) are headed to investigate a murder and kidnapping case that targets volunteer doctors in the area. One of the affected doctors? Jeanne's husband. How's that for intrigue?

The teaser trailer for the episode posted on YouTube by NCIS Promos was very dramatic, with some stolen, longing looks from DiNozzo to Jeanne. It also promised to be an unforgettable episode.

But it may not just be because of the lost love between the ex-lovers. The same video shows Gibbs (Mark Harmon) giving the team another scare. He collapses right in the squad room, prompting his team to call 911. It might be sort of serious, given that Jon Cryer's name is listed as guest star. He plays Dr. Taft, the surgeon helping Gibbs towards recovery.

Watch an all-new episode of "NCIS" season 13 on CBS every Tuesday night, 8 p.m.
