The upcoming episode of "New Girl" season 6 will see the gang lending a hand in the remodeling of Schmidt (Max Greenfield) and Cece's (Hannah Simone) new home.

A synopsis for the fifth episode of the sixth season, titled "Jaipur Aviv," reveals that the remodeling of Schmidt and Cece's new fixer-upper home is underway. The couple, of course, will not come to terms on all of the decisions at first, but they will soon learn to compromise.

Jess (Zooey Deschanel), Nick (Jake Johnson), and Winston (Lamorne Morris) will all be there to help their newly married friends. Meanwhile, Jess talks about the possibility of Reagan (Megan Fox) moving back into their loft and leads a vote. Nick and Winston, on the other hand, will find out something quite revealing.

A trailer for the new episode has also been released online and it teases Jess and Nick helping out during the remodel. Jess is seen tearing off a piece of wallpaper, while Nick does some work on the floor. However, it is also teased that Cece will choose a doorbell that Schmidt will not agree with, exclaiming, "You think that we're greeting people in our home to 'La Cucaracha'?"

Meanwhile, here is a brief recap of the previous episode, titled "Homecoming," which was a crossover special with another FOX comedy, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine."

Jess and her friends traveled all the way to the Big Apple to support Schmidt, who was under the impression that his old high school wanted to honor him and him alone. Crushed by the revelation that the event was not for him, Jess went to his favorite deli to get him some soup.

She ran into Detective Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg), who then took over driving her car in order to take down a culprit. However, things didn't go according to plan as Jake crashed the car, which belonged to Schmidt's mother. Jess went to 99th Precinct, where she met Gina (Chelsea Peretti) and Captain Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher).

"New Girl" season 6 airs Tuesdays at 8:30/7:30c on FOX.
