Nike Basketball 2016 Royalty Collection release date: Nike releasing All-Star Collection on Feb. 11 for NBA All-Star game in Toronto

To commemorate the first international NBA All-Star game happening in Toronto from Feb. 12 to 16, Nike will be releasing five 2016 All-Star basketball shoes dubbed the Royalty Collection. The collection features shoes that will be worn by Kobe Bryant, Anthony Davis, Kevin Durant, Paul George and Lebron James. With brand-new colorways, the soon-to-be released basketball shoes feature design cues inspired by Toronto.

The Kobe 11 Elite basketball shoes come with a sleek black upper with a green accent color inspired by the Northern Lights. It comes with unique design elements including molded leather on the heel and tongue.

The Nike Air Audacity gets a new All-Star edition. It features a heathered textile for the upper with an embroidered crest detail on the tongue. It also has "Fear the Brow" written on the outsole.

The 2016 All-Star KD8 basketball shoes feature a modern and color-blocked design with a color scheme inspired by Toronto. It has Flyweave upper and removable patches on the tongue and heel. The outsole also comes with a white and blue marbled design that calls to mind Toronto's icy winters.

Paul George is set to make his fourth All-Star appearance with special Nike Hyperlive basketball shoes. It features a Canadian red upper and maple-colored gum outsole and a maple leaf logo on the tongue. It has a simple silhouette but offers adequate support.

The Lebron 13 All-Star basketball shoes feature a grey and green color scheme, calling to mind the neutral tones associated with Toronto's winter. It also features graphics reminiscent of the KD8. The Lebron 13 comes with an icy and marbled design on the outsole to honor Lebron's achievements.

The Nike Basketball 2016 All-Star Collection will be available to purchase on Feb. 11 at nike.com and at select retail stores. Along with the basketball shoes, the Nike Royalty Collection also includes a hat, t-shirt, Hyperlite Crew socks and the Hypermesh jacket.
