Nintendo easily conquered E3 2014 when they announced the upcoming Zelda Wii U, but they are not stopping there, as the gaming titan has revealed they are currently working on three Zelda games across all its platforms.

The gorgeous lighting, colors and texture of the screenshots of the video game have infatuated enthusiasts and gaming community alike.

But while al fresco battles, stunning visuals and game development are all certain, Nintendo still could not divulge the release date for this much awaited project.

During the 74th Annual Shareholders meeting of the company, Senior Managing Director and GM of Entertainment Analysis & Development Division, Shigeru Miyamoto, is still uncertain about the official date of release for its first "The Legend of Zelda" Wii U entry.

"At this point, there are a few titles under development in 'The Legend of Zelda' series, so please look forward to their completion."

After having been one of the most sought after game platforms some years ago, Nintendo took a stall as the likes of PlayStation and Xbox came to dominate the gaming market.

Now, the company is trying to gain a momentum by introducing fresh content and a platform worthwhile for developers.

"Well, software sells hardware; it is the truism of this industry," said Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime, "and for us, it's always about creating compelling content, making it available at the right time for the consumer to be motivated and buy the hardware."

The next Zelda game could also include multiplayer option, as hinted by legendary developer Eiji Aonuma in an interview with IGN.

"When I was talking back about making Zelda more than just a single-player experience? That's something you will see in the future, maybe next year."

Meanwhile, Miyamoto preferred not to dub Zelda as "open world," even if the producers gave it that title when it was first previewed at E3.
