ABC's "Once Upon a Time" returned for its fifth season in September and currently, the series is already nine episodes deep. With the current run only a couple of broadcasts from its finale, fans can barely restrain their excitement for the rest of the season. Fortunately for them, not only has the lead actress in the series hinted at what fans can expect from "OUAT," the network has also released the official synopsis for the upcoming episode titled "Broken Heart."

Recently, Jennifer Morrison, the actress who plays the lead role of Emma, spilled intel surrounding Dark Killian/ Hook. According to Morrison, Hook will have just as much trouble as Emma did when she had the Darkness in her.

"As soon as the Darkness is within him again, he goes straight back to his vengeful pirate-y self, pre-Emma Hook, basically," explained Morrison in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. "He's operating from the Darkness, instead of the goodness that he's fought for for so many hundreds of years. In the immediacy of it, he's very resentful, but he's operating out of that Darkness that's within him."

Elsewhere, the Futon Critic obtained the official synopsis for the upcoming 10th episode and according to the summary, all of Morrison's hints are right on the money. Hook will go head to head with himself as possessed by the Darkness and his and Emma's affection for each other will be put to the ultimate challenge.

"Hook's centuries old lust for revenge against Gold puts both of their fates in jeopardy while Emma's love faces the ultimate test as she tries to convince Hook to turn away from the darkness before she, Mary Margaret, David and Regina embark on a new mission as an unsuspected evil is released," reads a part of the synopsis

"Once Upon a Time" season 5 episode 10 is scheduled to air on Nov. 29.
