There have been leaked photos going around online news recently about the speculated OnePlus 3. This has been an eye-catching phone due to its elegantly simple and smooth design.

No official statement regarding its release date has come from the Chinese smartphone maker as of now, but there are have been a few rumored details circulating online. The company released the latest and current model, which is OnePlus 2, in August of this year. Following the trend, it is likely that OnePlus 3 will be released on the same month in the next year.

Tech Advisor  relays some truly remarkable specs. The casing of the handset has a smooth metal black coating and a mirrored display screen. The display resolution is rumored to be at 1080p. It is unclear if OnePlus will adopt the new 1440p resolution, which will surely serve as a big break for the phone's display feature. It seems that OnePlus will stick with the same screen size with a 5.5-inch display.

It is rumored that OnePlus 3 will hold Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 820, which is a 64-bit octa-core processor. Users surely hope that it won't have the same overheating problem as the Snapdragon 810 installed in OnePlus 2.

Another feature is the Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. Charging takes time, but if the phone can charge fast, the user won't have to worry about wasting more than an hour to charge it. It is also said to have a 3,300mAh battery, which is capable of wireless charging.

OnePlus 3 is expected to have a fingerprint scanner as many phones do, but based on the leaked photos, there is a possibility that the security feature won't make it. There are rumors, though, that the phone might have the retina scanner to replace it. The predecessor of this phone doesn't have the microSD slot. The default memory of OnePlus 2 is 16 GB. For serious smartphone users, this won't really be enough, so expectations are high that an expandable phone memory will be integrated into the OnePlus 3.

The price tag for this upcoming device shouldn't be as high as Samsung or iPhone handsets. Tech Radar estimates the price to be $329, which is not bad considering its features.
