'Overwatch' update: New glitch affects in-game health, ruins matches

The latest patch of "Overwatch" appears to have arrived with a few bugs and glitches that need to be fixed. Users are particularly taking note of a strange health bug in the game.
According to a Reddit thread, the bug causes players to get five minutes' worth of health. The 9,682 upvotes on the topic means a lot of players may also be experiencing the same issue.
However, this is not the only bug that has appeared in the game that is causing players trouble. A loading screen glitch even causes temporary bans for some players.
Reddit user Alpha_Drew reported this bug in a thread and described it as an "endless loop."
This particular bug takes players to the introductory screen with the teams and their group rating. However, the bug kicks them out of the room and sends them back in. This happens repeatedly with no end in sight.
If players try to quit and rejoin the game, the game is cancelled and the players lose skill points.
Alpha_Drew even said this cost him 300 Skill Points and got him banned from competitive matches for eight hours. This appears to be a prevalent issue for some players as well.
Unfortunately, Blizzard has yet to issue a statement addressing the issue.
This can be particularly bad news for Blizzard as they just tweeted last Jan. 27 that the game currently has 25 million registered players.
It was an increase of five million from their count in November, when the developers reported 20 million registered gamers. According to Gaming Bolt, this is the first Blizzard game to hit this number of registered players in its history.
However, the figure does not indicate copies sold or concurrent players online. This is because the game has had several free trials for players.
If the bugs become persistent and remain unaddressed, Blizzard could lose some players for their hit shooter.
