Panasonic has released a very interesting camera, the Lumix DMC-CM10. It is an Android-powered camera similar to Panasonic's previously released CM1 smartphone. However, this version functions mainly as a camera. It does have data and SMS connectivity but does not have phone functionality.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-CM10 camera comes with a 20.1 one-inch CMOS sensor, a 28 mm f/2.8 Leica wide angle lens and 4x optical zoom. These features allow the DMC-CM10 to deliver clear and high-quality photos. With an ISO sensitivity range of 125 to 12,800 that can be extended up to 25,600, users will also be able to produce low noise images even in low lighting conditions.

The Android-powered camera also has the capability to record 4K (3840 x 2160) videos.

In terms of dimensions, it is 21.1 mm at its thickest point and weighs 204 grams. It is portable and easy to carry. Thus, it is the perfect device to capture special and unexpected moments during daily life. Users can also have fun taking pictures as the camera comes with different shooting modes and up to 18 filter effects. The camera also comes with a built-in flash.

To frame photos, there is a 4.7-inch Full HD touchscreen display with 6.22 million dot pixels. The camera is powered by a quad-core 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and 2 GB of RAM. There is also 16 GB of internal storage which can be expanded using a microSD card.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-CM10 comes with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. These features allow users to quickly and easily upload their images to their social media accounts. The camera also runs the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out of the box so users will be able to download apps from Google Play.

The camera is backed by a 2,600 mAh lithiu-ion battery pack with Quick Charge 2.0 support. According to Panasonic, standby time is up to 630 hours. The camera also comes with a USB 2.0 port and a microUSB port.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-CM10 will be available for purchase starting this February for about $850. However, the Android-powered camera will only be sold in Japan.
