With Atlus not keen on giving details, enthusiasts continue to speculate on "Persona 5's" release date saying it will likely come out in July.

Earlier talks regarding the game state that the newest installation will come out in summer. Since the game originated in Japan and summer in the said country starts in May, it was believed to be released by then. However, a little more than a month before May begins, nothing is heard from the developer and publisher.

Atlus has promised the game will come out this year, and Yibada reported that "Persona 5" merchandises have already been seen around retail shops in Machida, Tokyo. This could very well mean that the fifth installment is already preparing for its release.

Now that May is around the corner and no announcement has been made yet, gamers have taken note that other installments were launched in July of previous years so the same thing will probably happen this year.

Some details of the games have been generously shared by its creator Katsuhiro Harada and designer Katsura Hashino. It has been revealed that new set of characters and game modes awaits "Persona 5" fans. Crossmap noted it has been five years since the game started development so a lot of changes and improvements are expected to happen.

The main protagonist is said to look like Hogwart School of Magic's powerful young wizard Harry Potter whose name is Phantom. Phantom's story starts in a café owned by their family's friend, but something will happen that will make him hopeless.

Phantom will eventually cross paths with a blonde guy named Ryuji Sakamoto, a girl named Anzu Takamaki, and a cat named Morgana and the four will become the game's main protagonists. They will work together to fight for what they believe in.

While the previous game saw protagonists chasing after villains, they will be the ones on the run this time around. Furthermore, romance will be tackled in the game.

"Persona 5" will be available for PlayStation 3 PlayStation 4 modules only.
