PlayStation Plus January 2017 free games list rumors: 'Rayman Legends,' 'Until Dawn: Rush of Blood' expected to arrive

PlayStation fans are anxiously waiting for Sony's announcement of the January 2017 list of games as part of the PS Plus program. But since the company has yet to make the big reveal, fans have resorted to speculative work.
There are a number of games that are highly rumored for a PS Plus January release. As previously reported, popular titles such as "Titanfall" and "Ratchet and Clank" were heavily speculated. Additionally, there was also some talk of a special demo coming for "Gravity Rush 2." But then again, Sony could opt to release "Gravity Rush Remastered" instead.
First released in 2014, Respawn Entertainment's "Titanfall" was met with positive reviews that ultimately resulted in a sequel being made — October's "Titanfall 2." Meanwhile, "Ratchet and Clank" is a relatively new game, only released in April earlier this year.
But other titles have also been suspected, including "Knack," "Rayman Legends," and "Resident Evil Zero HD Remastered." And according to PSU, there are a number of reasons why these games are believed to be making the cut.
First of all, SIE Japan's "Knack" is expected to arrive on the PS Plus in the new year mainly because a sequel is coming, while "Rayman Legends" is a heavily rumored one due to Ubisoft titles frequently appearing on the PS Plus program.
"Resident Evil Zero HD Remastered," on the other hand, may make the list because "Resident Evil HD" was already released on the PS Plus back in October. Moreover, "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" is set to debut in January.
Finally, fans believe that "Until Dawn: Rush of Blood" will be included on the January list of free games because it is VR-ready. Sony released the PlayStation VR earlier this year, and releasing a free game that can be played on the head console will surely boost marketing for it.
However, since these have not been officially confirmed, readers should take this news with a grain of salt.
