'Pokemon GO' Eevee evolution news: Vaporeon the strongest form; Ditto exclusive to South American version?

(Pokemon Official)Eevee can evolve to Vaporeon by assigning the captured Pokemon a Rainer nickname.

While it is true that "Pokemon GO" offers a wide array of adorable "Pokemon" characters, there is no denying that Eevee is one of the highly popular among them. After all, it is the only Pokemon that offers a branched evolution that can be achieved randomly. However, with the recent discovery of an Easter Egg in "Pokemon GO," it has been revealed that gamers actually have the power to determine the kind of evolution that they want for Eevee.

In reports some weeks back, it was revealed that the kind of evolution that Eevee gets, otherwise known as "eevolution," can be achieved by assigning a particular nickname to it. However, these nicknames are not ordinary as they are the names of the Eevee brothers, who were featured in the "Pokemon" anime in its early years.

For instance, if a player wants his Eevee to evolve into Jolteon, he needs to assign the nickname Sparky to it. On the other hand, if he wants it to evolve into Vaporeon, the nickname that he needs to give Eevee is Rainier. Lastly, if he wants Eevee to transform into Flareon, he should nickname it Pyro.

Forbes opines that while Vaporeon's nickname, Rainier, may sound the lamest, there is no denying that it is the strongest evolved form of Eevee. The online publication also said that Eevee evolutions are some of the forces to reckon with on "Pokemon GO" — thanks to their strength as fighters that make them a favorite choice of many gamers.

Meanwhile, in another "Pokemon GO"-related news, some players of "Pokemon GO" believe that they may have already found Ditto, the most elusive Pokemon in the game. With its ability to shapeshift, some suspect that they may have already captured Ditto without their knowledge.

According to Nerdist, though, it is also possible that Ditto is being reserved as an exclusive for the yet-to-be released South American version of "Pokemon GO," as the said continent has a lot of jungles.
