'Pokémon GO' cheats, tips and tricks: hacks that won't get you banned

(Reuters/Jose Cabezas)There are tricks to playing "Pokemon GO" without the risk of getting banned.

Some players of "Pokémon GO" continue to figure out ways on how to cheat the game without getting caught, even after Niantic made it clear that cheaters will have their accounts permanently banned.

Prior to this new update from the developer, "Pokémon GO" players would use GPS spoofing apps that could fool the device's GPS tracker into thinking that the player is in another location or is moving about just so he or she could get different types of Pokémon. While this move will now result to a permanent ban, people don't realize that there are other game tricks that can be used without any fear.

Incense and Lure Modules Hack

Incense and Lure Modules are items used to attract Pokémon to a player's current location. As explained in the report from Yibada, these items should be used wisely to maximize their benefits. For instance, Lure Modules are best used in areas where there are more than one PokéStops. This way, players can enjoy the lures when activated and there isn't even a need to travel far just to catch Pokémon.

Get Higher XPs

Besides completing the Pokedex, one of the main objectives of the game is to reach the maximum level at level 40. One way to level up faster is to use Lucky Eggs when evolving Pokémon. This will reward players with double XP.

Transfer-Evolve

Catching and collecting low-level Pokémon also helps in increasing a player's level. These Pokémon can be transferred so players will get candies. The accumulated candies can then be used to evolve Pokémon. Primagames advised catching Pidgey and using this Pokémon as a way to level up using the transfer-evolve method. The report explained that players should catch as many Pidgeys as they can and evolve it while using Lucky Eggs. This will result to 1,000 XP per evolution. As stated by Yibada, some players have received 10,000 XP just by using the transfer-evolve method properly.

Collect Any Pokémon

Even the low-level ones are important in helping players level up. It doesn't matter if a low-level Weedle or Rattata keeps showing up; they should still be caught as they can help players level up and gain rewards by using the methods mentioned above.
