'Prison Break' revival cast news: Two new names join the fray; who among the original cast will return?

New casting updates emerged this week pointing out two new actors joining the Fox revival project of its hit prison drama TV series "Prison Break."
The report comes from TVLine that confirms that the Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell-starrer TV show has added Augustus Prew and Rick Yune in major recurring roles.
As further detailed by the media outlet, "The Borgias" star will essay the role of a character named Whip. He is described as "funny, crazy (read: lethal), and pretty damn sharp."
The "Marco Polo" actor, meanwhile, will play the role of Ja, "a Korean identity thief whose disheveled appearance belies his genius."
Last month, a report from Flickering Myth also announced that "Royal Pains" alum Mark Feuerstein has also signed in for a recurring role. He will be playing the part of Scott Ness, "the formidable husband" of original series star Sarah Wane Callies' prison doctor character, Sara Tancredi.
Flickering Myth went on to divulge that Ness is an "anxious" professor in Economics at Cornell University who "is dubious of government, but proves he's got significant fight in him when up against it."
It is yet to be known if Callies will return for her beloved character that she has played ever since the show debuted.
Meanwhile, fans have been asking who among the original cast members, besides Miller (who plays Michael Scoffield) and Purcell (as Lincoln Burrows), are returning for the second time around.
Deadline.com said that stars Robert Knepper, Rockmond Dunbar, and Amaury Nolasco are now under negotiation for a stint. If the talks push through, the names will once again appear to the small screens as T-Bag, C-Note, and Fernando, respectively.
Fox executive Dana Walden previously shared that the new season of "Prison Break" will unravel "on an international landscape."
"We open on a very international contemporary-feeling story," the network chairman was quoted as saying.
Deadline added that the revival will focus on a rescue mission in Yemen. This time, the one who is incarcerated is Scofield.
Stay tuned for more updates.
