Six years after "Prison Break" wrapped up, a lot of fans have been asking for the show to be revived, and just recently, wishes have come true. However, it turns out that the most loved couple won't be together when the show returns since Sara is a married woman.

Spoilers reveal that Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies) will find new love after her heart was broken when Michael (Wentworth Miller) was supposedly killed off. It was also confirmed recently that the series will feature a huge time jump following the events that led to the unhappy ending between Sara and Michael.

When the show returns for its fifth season, Mark Feuerstein will play the role of Scott Ness, Sara's husband. Not much is known about his character, but it is said that Scott is a powerful man who no one would want to butt heads with. Some fans suggest that he may be the new antagonist without Sara's knowledge. On the other hand, some believe he will bear a strong connection with Michael, which will make them allies in the end.

Viewers are interested in how things will turn out for Sara and Michael, now that the former is married. It is expected that Sara will be shocked when she discovers that Michael is alive. Michael, too, is expected to be heartbroken when he finds out that Sara is now married to another man.

The complicated situation only gets worse since it is rumored that Callies may not be playing Sara's role when the show premieres. It turns out that though the actress has been tapped to reprise her role, her team has not settled on a deal with Fox.

In an interview late last month with Digital Spy, Callies said, "It's a really interesting challenge to think about resurrecting a character I said goodbye to six years ago...hopefully they work it out, because I very much want to be part of it."

Callies is currently working on "Colony," and her ongoing project is making it hard for both parties to strike a deal, especially since she is already committed to the said project.

"Prison Break" season 5 is expected to release sometime late 2016 or early 2017.
