'Rainbow Six Siege' beta outlined, Idris Elba in promotional adverts

The game "Rainbow Six Siege" is heading into its beta stage and recently, it attracted a lot of attention when advertisements arrived in the form of three live action trailers featuring actor Idris Elba. As for the rest of the news about the game, it centers on the open beta that is due to kick off next week and will last for five days.
First off, Gamespot states that those who download and play that beta version of Tom Clancy's "Rainbow Six Siege" will not have their progress carried over when the game is released. This means that when the game arrives on Dec. 1, any progression that gamers have made in terms of characters or inventory will remain within the beta version.
This is not surprising as other offerings from Ubisoft have also adopted the same formula; however, gamers who took part in the closed beta earlier this year will get some added benefit. In particular, they will be able to log into the beta version a full 24 hours before other players can.
Coming to the content included in the beta, it is going to be limited compared to the final game but players will get to try out three maps which will come with night and day scenarios. As for the modes, there are going to be three included: Secure Area, Bomb and Disarm Bomb.
There has been a lot of anticipation building around "Rainbow Six Siege" and the game looks set to land in December after it was pushed from its original release date in October.
As for the advertisements featuring Elba, CinemaBlend states that he outlined the many features of the game such as the ability to play as 20 characters and wield sophisticated gadgets and weapons. Only 14 characters will be available in the beta but each is expected to come with abilities that will come in handy when creating reinforcements for rooms or breaking them down during a siege.
