Ray's (Liev Schreiber) loyalty is being questioned in the upcoming episode 9, titled "Goodbye Beautiful," of the fourth season of the American crime drama "Ray Donovan."

Avi (Steven Bauer) and Lena (Katherine Moennig) are doubtful of Ray's loyalty to Sonia (Embeth Davidtz) so they may confront him about it or find a way to make sure he is sincere with his intentions. Mickey (Jon Voight), on the other hand, goes back to Primm.

The promo trailer for "Goodbye Beautiful" shows Ray's wife Abby (Paula Malcomson) opening the door of her home to Sonia, who tells her that Ray has killed an important man so her entire family is in trouble. Meanwhile, Sonia asks Ray to get rid of Vlad (Richard Brake) before her uncle finds out what Ray really did. Avi suggests to Ray to kill Sonia while they have the chance. However, Ray insists that she is a keeper. Across town, Mickey enlists Bunchy's (Dash Mihok) help to break into a house to get the money from a safe. Before the clip ends, Ray promises not to lose Abby.

In other news, according to The Hollywood Reporter, "Ray Donovan" has been renewed by Showtime network for another season with 12-hour-long episodes. President and CEO of Showtime Networks David Nevins announced the good news at the recent Television Critics Association summer press tour in Beverly Hills, California.

Hector's (Ismael Cruz Cordova) anticipated rematch against Whittaker (Victor Ortiz) was canceled, despite Marisol's public declaration. However, Ray had to pull all sorts of strings — including Lena and Daryll's (Pooch Hall) help — just to make sure the match happens. At the Donovan residence, an angry neighbor complains about Conor's reckless behavior. Also, Teresa (Alyssa Diaz) became even more depressed so her family decided to admit her to a mental hospital.
