Maura (Sasha Alexander) and Jane (Angie Harmon) will find themselves in the middle of an all-out gun battle between gangs in the upcoming episode of the hit TNT series "Rizzoli & Isles."

In "East Meets West," TV Guide reports that incidents of gunfights are being recorded in "a usually quiet neighborhood" in Boston. When a particular vicious match leaves one casualty, the police's investigation leads to "the shadowy realm" of a gang with Eastern European roots. Jane and Maura must dig deep to stop the chaos and restore peace in the community. To do this, they must apprehend the culprits, but how can they do this if they are met by obstacles along the way?

Meanwhile, Maura will reportedly develop a fever. Her surrogate mother, Angela (Lorraine Bracco), of course, will come to her rescue. For some reason, her tried-and-tested home remedies appear to have "unexpected effect" on Maura. Last episode, viewers saw how the medical examiner was suffering from her Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Although she told Jane and the others that she was okay, she was clearly not.

Maura has trouble looking at crime scenes which make her relive her kidnapping. She is slowly spiraling downward and she needs help. But because she continues to deny what she is truly feeling, her condition is not improving. Jane has an inkling of what is happening with her best friend, but she cannot do anything unless Maura asks for her help. Will the doctor get over her trauma soon?

Last episode, the pair investigated the death of a woman who was found in an abandoned warehouse. What surprised the police was that the crime scene looked straight out of a horror movie set. It turned out the victim was a member of a certain Fear Club, where they pay money to get scared out of their wits. Further probe revealed that the woman was not accidentally killed. She was murdered and her killer was on the loose.

It turned out she died to save someone else. A preschool teacher was set up to come to the party by a colleague. He wanted revenge because she fired him for submitting false papers. The victim walked into them when the murderer was about to do the deed. When the teacher managed to escape because of her help, the man turned on her killed her.

"Rizzoli & Isles" season 6 airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on TNT.
