Although Samsung faced some issues regarding the recently released Galaxy Note 7, it seems as though the technology company will be continuing the product line.

Samsung Note 7 users had the unfortunate problem regarding their smartphones when it was revealed that the device was prone to exploding. Because of this, Samsung had to recall this product, which greatly damaged their brand.

Nevertheless, it is believed that Samsung will present another installment to the Galaxy Note line. Reports indicated that the Galaxy Note 8 is set for an earlier release in order to help consumers quickly forget about the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco.

It was rumored that the Samsung Note 8 will be the replacement for those who had the Note 7. The ones who returned their Samsung Note 7 can trade their phones for a Note 8 when it releases. In the meantime, the phones were replaced with a Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge.

A Samsung representative shared some details about the matter. According to a CIO report, the spokesperson said: "As for the reports on the exchange program in Korea, that offering refers to the availability of S8 in that market and is regionally specific. Samsung has not officially communicated any information about a new Note lineup, so any reports referring to a new Note device are purely speculation and are not in reference to any communications from Samsung on a future Note."

In addition, experts believe that Samsung will not drop the Note brand since it has been a well-loved line for consumers, despite the issues it faced this year. However, there are other reports indicating that Samsung will most likely rebrand in order to remove the taint in their reputation.

Meanwhile, there has yet to be any news on the matter. With that, Samsung fans will have to wait for more details on Samsung's upcoming devices.

The Samsung Note 8 is expected to release sometime Jan or March 2017.
