There has been quite a bit of anticipation surrounding the release of the Samsung Gear Fit 2 since it was leaked some weeks ago. Going by the current rumors about the fitness tracker, it appears that it could be close to release and arrive sometime during next month.

In spite of a number of images of the device appearing on the Internet and Samsung even inadvertently leaking some, the Gear Fit 2 fitness tracker has not been announced. This has led many to believe that the Gear Fit 2 is still being refined and would only be releasing sometime down the line. However, if recent rumors about the device are to be believed, the Gear Fit 2 is much closer to arriving in the market and will be first seen in Korea.

The details about the release of the Gear Fit 2 were a surprise, but the fact that Samsung would choose to first bring it out in Korea is not. Korea is Samsung's home country and often the company brings out devices there before they release elsewhere in the world.

Additionally, a lot of information about the upcoming Gear Fit 2 has already been revealed on the Internet through leaks. The most recent leak about the fitness tracker indicates that it will come in three colors. These colors were seen in live images of the device and they consisted of black, blue, and purple. This is, however, not the first time that the fitness tracker has been seen in live images and the first leak about the Gear Fit 2 showed the device in the flesh with a bigger curve that is present on the Gear Fit.

There are also indications that the Gear Fit 2 will be releasing along with the Gear IconX wireless earbuds that can act as a standalone music player and have onboard storage of around 4 GB. It is also expected that the Gear Fit 2 will come with a unique bio-processor that can track the electrical activity of the heart much like an electrocardiogram does.
