It's official! The main cast of "Scream Queens" will be back in its second season. The good news was revealed during the show's panel on the second day of PaleyFest, March 12.

"Scream Queens" co-creator Brad Falchuk together with series stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Niecy Nash, Keke Palmer, Abigail Breslin, and Billie Lourd were all present at the panel to announce what's coming up in the upcoming season—including their characters' return.

"This is the first we're revealing this much of the cast. We're all coming back," Curtis said, according to Billboard.

Falchuk also revealed that the second installment will start in a new setting. "Dean Munsch has taken her passion for education and brought it into the healthcare system. She has purchased a hospital," he said. "All of the girls will be medical students under the rule of Munsch and three hunky doctors."

As to why it will be set in the hospital, Falchuk explained that they were inspired by the horror movie models like "Friday the 13^th" and "Halloween."

Here are the character descriptions for the second season of "Scream Queens," according to Variety:

Dean Munsch (Curtis): Just what Falchuk mentioned, Munsch will run a hospital after purchasing one. This decision came after she travelled the world to find a new passion.

The Chanels (Roberts, Breslin, Lourd): Falchuk said that with the Chanels, things will turnaround since the girls will be learning medicine under their ex-enemy Dean Munsch.

Hester (Michele): Falchuk did not reveal much about Hester but he did mention that she will be involved in a murder and a mystery killer.

Zayday (Palmer): Zayday will start her initial training to become a physician under Dean Munsch's watch. In the first season, she graduated within two years from Wallace University.

Denise (Nash): She will be an FBI officer in the second season and she still gets to meet the Chanels when a problem at the hospital arises.

The creators and the network have not announced the official premiere date yet.
