'Sense8' season 2 air date, news, rumors: Is Felix back in the game?

The upcoming season of "Sense8" is getting fans more and more excited as the show continues to post photos that hint of the potential plot for the new installment.

Last week, the show's official Instagram page posted a photo of showrunner Lana Wachowski as she appears to be having a fun time conversing with Max Mauff. It appears that the cast and crew were on break when the picture was taken.

The said photo has led fans to ask if Mauff's character, Felix, will return in good health for "Sense8" season 2. In the previous installment, Felix was shot while helping out Wolfgang (Max Riemelt) on a robbery spree. Since Mauff appears to be fine on the posted image, fans can expect him to be healthy again and running alongside Wolfie in the upcoming season.

Felix is Wolfgang's best friend, and though not much is known about his back story, his being shot has played a major role in developing Wolfgang's storyline. Should Felix be back for "Sense8" season 2 from his coma, will he help his good friend in the mission to track down Mr. Whispers (Terrence Mann)?

Meanwhile, an alleged leaked script for "Sense8" season 2 reveals that Will's (Brian J. Smith) father will die in the upcoming season. There are no further details in the reported script but it is said that after the father-and-son duo were speaking at the hospital, the elder Gorski passed away.

If Will's dad passes away, it would open doors for a deeper and emotionally-gripping storyline for Will when the show returns next year.

The purported script for "Sense8" season 2 also teases of Nomi's (Jamie Clayton) past, back when she had to go through a surgery. In September, the show uploaded a photo of a doctor and an operating room, though Nomi is not in the room and there are no patients included in the image. Is the photo teasing of a scene where Nomi will undergo surgery?

Netflix has yet to announce an official premiere date for "Sense8" season 2 but Clayton revealed earlier this year that the first episode will be aired Christmas.
