The second season of "Sense8" is finally in the works, and to join the excitement, Tina Desai recently talked about her role as Kala and described the new season in simple but thrilling words.

In season 1, Kala and Wolfgang (Max Reimelt) formed something that fans see as a possible romantic storyline. The two look very good together as a couple, though Kala's engagement is obviously in between their feelings for each other (if there are). It is unclear how their story will fare, but in a recent interview with The International Business Times of India, she expressed her gratefulness for the support their storyline received.

"The support for Kala and Wolfies story is maniacal and I love it," she said. She even dished that she thinks she is closest to Riemelt out of the camera's eye since she has spent more time with him on set compared with the rest of the cast. On the other hand, she said she enjoys the company of everyone.

When asked how filming goes for now that the series is on its second installment, Desai said she has kept in touch with her costars after season 1 wrapped up so they're all friends in real life. The friendship makes her even more comfortable now that "there's a certain level of comfort and maturity" among the cast.

While she wasn't able to give anything much about the second season's plot, she did dish a little bit about Kala and Wolfgang's ongoing stint. "I can just things have gotten more intense and action-packed, and the relationship between Kala and Wolfie is more stressful and electric than ever," she said.

Meanwhile, fans are excited to see how things will turn out between Kala and Wolfie, as well as how the season will treat the other main cast members. It remains to be seen if Will (Brian Smith) will get back on track or if he will remain unconscious for longer.

Fans should also look forward to the places that the series will visit. Desai said in her interview that one of the best locations they visited for the filming is Iceland.

"Sense8" season 2 is expected to premiere sometime in 2016.
