In the upcoming episode of "Sleepy Hollow" season 4, Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) and Jenny Mills (Lyndie Greenwood) will be returning to their hometown, Sleepy Hollow.

The synopsis for "Sleepy Hollow" season 4 episode 6, titled "Homecoming," reveals that the pair will be returning to Sleepy Hollow to find the talisman that Malcolm (Jeremy Davies) is looking for. They will attempt to find the talisman before the forces of evil do. In this episode, viewers will see the lead characters teaming up with Diana (Janina Gavankar), Alex (Rachel Melvin), and Jake (Jerry MacKinnon). To add, when they return to their hometown, significant moments in Ichabod and Jenny's past will be revisited.

The trailer for the episode teases that an ancient archer will be preventing them from getting their hands on the talisman. Before they can get to the talisman, they will have to overcome the ancient force.

To recap the previous episode, Malcolm is a tech billionaire who sold his soul to the devil in order to save his business, following his terrible car accident. Malcolm got what he desired, but does not intend to keep his side of the bargain. To squeeze his way out of the deal, he needs to cheat death by becoming immortal. Malcolm needs the talisman to create the philosopher's stone, which is his shot to immortality.

Viewers can expect to see guest star Kamar de los Reyes to reprise his role as Jobe and Edwin Hodge to reprise his role as Benjamin Banneker.

On a different note, TVLine reports that the ratings for season 4 of "Sleepy Hollow" are currently slipping. The previous episode only managed to grab 1.85 million viewers and a 0.5 ratings, which is similar to its lowest recorded ratings.
