In a few weeks from now, Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) will be starting his first journey sans his partner FBI Agent Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) in FOX's supernatural drama TV series "Sleepy Hollow." A little teaser for the fourth season of the show features a headless Ichabod.

In the latest promotional art for "Sleepy Hollow," Ichabod is headless, and he is carrying his own head in his arm. The poster, which debuted with the caption "Carry On," is reportedly meant for the fans who are still grieving the loss of Ichabod's partner, Abbie. The show also left a few words for the fans. They wrote, "Don't lose your heads. "Sleepy Hollow returns to Fox Jan. 6."

Although Ichabod will be losing an ally, he will gain new ones in the upcoming season. To note, the lead character was invited to a covert organization that mainly fought supernatural evil loitering the earth. The group was formed hundreds of years ago by George Washington.

In "Sleepy Hollow" season 4, Ichabod will find himself a new partner in a single mom who works for the Secret Service, Agent Diana (Janina Gavankar). This time, the supernatural hunter will be joined by two other members from the secret organization, Jake (Jerry MacKinnon) and Alex (Rachel Melvin).

Even though Ichabod's former partner was written out of the storyline, her sister Jenny (Lyndie Greenwood) is here to stay. She will be reprising her role in the upcoming season. She will join Ichabod in Washington in his quest to find other witnesses.

Fans of the show can also expect to see the Headless Horseman and Henry Parrish (John Noble), Ichabod's son, in season 4. However, Daniel Reynolds (Lance Gross) and Sophie Foster (Jessica Camacho) will not be back for the upcoming season.

"Sleepy Hollow" season 4 will air starting Friday, Jan. 6, 2017, at 9 p.m. EST on FOX.
