'Steven Universe' season 3 episode 4 spoilers: Steven advises Peridot to show her 'sweet side' to Lapis Lazuli

(Facebook / Steven Universe)Steven will be torn when on the next episode when Peridot and Lapis discuss living in the Barn.

Peridot and Lapis Lazuli are not in good terms. Peridot thinks there is a chance she and Lapis might be good friends, but Lapis thinks otherwise. Peridot gets frustrated, telling Lapis that she's different now. However, it was not enough to convince the latter. Thus, Peridot turned to Steven for help, where he advised her to show her 'sweet side' to Lapis.

A leaked video for episode 4 titled "Barn Mates" shows Peridot recording her diary and saying that she and Lapis have become good friends. However, it turned out that she was just imagining the scenario as Lapis looks upset while Steven tries to clear the air between them since they are going to be barn mates.

Peridot is optimistic, even excited, about the idea as Lapis continues to contradict everything the two are saying. Steven then suggested that both of them can have their own space and proceeds to draw a line between them.

To make Steven's argument more favorable, Peridot points out to Lapis that she has the better side of the barn, although she's open for negotiations, she added jokingly.

However, Lapis can't seem to get over what happened in the past and started to remind Peridot how she used her and got her stuck on Earth. Peridot says sorry and affirms that she is a different person now. But instead of listening to her, Lapis hurriedly left both of them, saying that it is not going to be okay.

Steven felt sorry for Peridot and told her that she forgot that the last time both of them met each other was not a good encounter. Peridot said that she wants Lapis to understand that she's a different person now. Steven thinks that gesture was sweet and asked Peridot to show that sweet side of her to Lapis.

Peridot was skeptical about the idea. So will she agree with Steven and show her more emotional side to Lapis and become vulnerable, or she will abandon the idea altogether?

"Steven Universe" airs every Thursday at 7 p.m. EST on Cartoon Network.
