The fifth season of the hit American legal drama "Suits" closed with a shocking finale on USA network more than a month ago after the phantom lawyer Mike Ross finally got busted. And so, a lot of the fans are excited to know what's next for him and the rest of the prestigious firm.

According to reports, as expected, season 6 will spotlight on Mike's imprisonment. As he faces the consequences of his actions and choices for the past years as a fake lawyer, he will also have to handle the environment that he will be living in. Fortunately, he gets to know a few inmates inside the prison walls. It was reported that Kevin Miller (Erik Palladino), Danbury Prison's Counselor (Malcolm-Jamal Warner), and Frank Gallo (Paul Schulze) will be introduced next season as Mike's possible allies in jail.

Miller will start off cautious and doubtful of Mike, while Frank is one of the longest inmates in the prison, and the counselor will be the one guiding Mike inside the prison.

The showrunner and series creator Aaron Korsh told The Hollywood Reporter that they haven't finalized Mike's full jail time. However, he denied the rumors about Mike working to get a law degree or become some jailhouse lawyer. They are still in the process of creating a "different and unexpected" story.

Fans can expect a stronger and closer Harvey Specter and Louis Litt as they team up to protect the firm. Gabriel Macht revealed on Stuff NZ that his character Specter and Litt will set aside their differences to achieve their common goal — save the firm. He described their friendship as a "love-hate relationship" because "Harvey loves to hate him."

He also revealed that the show will return with a huge mess. The challenge next season will be the rebuilding of the Person Specter Litt back from the ashes and it starts with Harvey and Louis.

"Suits" season 6 will premiere later this year.
