Just a little more than a week ago, the cast and crew of "Suits" updated their social media accounts announcing that filming for the sixth season of "Suits" just wrapped up.

The mid-season 6 premiere of "Suits" is not scheduled until next year, but there are already some updates on what fans can expect in the coming episodes.

In the first part of "Suits" season 6, fans saw Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) finally decide on leaving her beloved Pearson Specter Litt and ask Jeff Malone (D. B. Woodside) if she can follow him to Chicago.

In an interview with Deadline last September, "Suits" creator and executive producer Aaron Korsh was asked if there will be a new actor to be cast to replace Jessica, but the showrunner has confirmed that they are not planning on adding another regular to the series, at least not for the second half of season 6.

The showrunner also revealed that the main reason Torres left the show was because the actress wanted to live in Los Angeles as opposed to Toronto, where the series is filmed.

Since Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams) has just been released from prison, one of the main questions for the latter part of "Suits" season 6 is the status and stability of his relationship with his fiancé, Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle).

Mike will not be able to practice law anymore after he has been imprisoned for being a fake lawyer. In an interview with TVLine, Adams revealed that one of the biggest challenges that Mike will have to face in "Suits" season 6B is what he'll do in the future.

The good news is that in the same interview, Adams revealed that he doesn't think that Mike's time in prison will be an issue when it comes to the character's relationship with Rachel. Adams claims that Mike is really proud of Rachel and all that she has accomplished.

"Suits" mid-season premiere is scheduled to air on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017 on USA Network.
