'Supernatural' season 11 news: 'The Vampire Diaries' actress to appear in show

"Supernatural" seems to be following the trend of other CW shows where one actor from another show makes a guest appearance in another. Rumors have it that "Supernatural" will follow suit and will guest an actress from "The Vampire Diaries."
In a report on E! Online, "The Vampire Diaries" actress Elizabeth Blackmore is set to have a recurring role in "Supernatural's" 12th season. But her character will first appear in one of this season's episodes.
In "Supernatural," she will be cast as Lady Toni Bevell, a young woman who believes that she has something in common with Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles). There are some speculations that she could either be a hunter or a monster who hails from the same family tree as the brothers.
Fans are expecting that the new character will be just as exciting as Rowena and Amara, although the latter will only be the main antagonist for this season and she will be written off in the next installment. Moreover, fans are also hoping that Blackmore's character will appear more often, unlike Sheriff Jody Mills who only appeared once or twice every season.
Meanwhile, episode 19 of "Supernatural" will bring the Winchester brothers to a small Colorado town to investigate the mysterious disappearance of some residents. What makes the disappearance more mysterious is that it only happens every 27 years.
The brothers will find themselves battling a different kind of monster called the chitters. According to the spoilers, the monsters terrorize the small town only once in every generation where they get someone as an offering. There, the brothers will also meet two other hunters who want to exact their revenge against these monsters. So the question is - will this be the episode that Lady Toni Bevell will be introduced?
The next episode of "Supernatural" is entitled "The Chitters" and will be aired on Wednesday, April 27 at 9 p.m. EST on CW.
