The eleventh season of 'Supernatural' is literally in days away from its premiere and fans are definitely more than thankful that the long wait for the return of their beloved Winchester brothers is almost over. In the spirit of spoiling their avid viewers even more, the cast and crew have since been generous about releasing spoilers and promotional materials.

According to TVLine, the CW released the show's newest trailer video on its social media pages a few hours ago and despite of the fact that the teaser is only 2 minutes long, it was more than enough to get audience' tongues wagging. Initially, the video featured nothing but the usual 'Supernatural' fanfare. In the thick of the teaser however, one unfamiliar face has gotten viewers on the edge of their seat. Currently, fans claim that the mysterious woman, played by actress Emily Swallow, might be Darkness in human form.

The production of 'Supernatural' has yet to comment on fan speculation. While disappointing, showrunner, Jeremy Carver, did reveal that one malevolent force would return to season 11. In a report by TVline, Carver confirmed that Ruth Connell would be back in the upcoming run to reprise her role as the Scottish witch, Rowena. According to Carver, Rowena would be as much of a problem as the previous offering.

"We'll be seeing her in the early parts of the season deciding what she wants to do with this newfound power, and you'll see what kind of success she has with. What makes her an enjoyable character is for all of her power, she's still ruled by a certain amount of hubris," the executive producer said.

Elsewhere, Jensen Ackles have also revealed that 'Supernatural' season 11 is probably one of his favorite runs for the show, explaining how it was great to see the Winchester brothers back on the same side.

"We're back to normal so to speak and we have a common target."

'Supernatural' Season 11 is scheduled to premiere on Oct. 7, 2015 on The CW.
