'Teen Wolf' season 6 spoilers: Liam takes over Alpha duties from Scott

Liam (Dylan Sprayberry), Scott's (Tyler Posey) only real beta, will take over the Alpha's responsibility in the upcoming season of the MTV hit series "Teen Wolf."
With Scott heading off to college in season 6, Liam will most likely be getting more duties to lead the werewolf pack left in Beacon Hills. A strong leader is needed to protect the people, considering that new monsters are about to be unleashed soon. Executive producer Jeff Davis told The Hollywood Reporter last year that he sees Liam getting used to the idea of becoming an alpha, while Scott takes a more laidback role.
"[But] beyond season six, I'd love for someone else to take over the show. If it still has life, if there's still stories to tell, that would be great — [to] see maybe Dylan Sprayberry take over the role of the Teen Wolf and see Tyler Posey move into more of a Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin) role. That would be the Degrassi High version," the showrunner said.
Meanwhile, shippers of "Stydia" will be ecstatic to learn that season 6 will be featuring a lot of Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) and Lydia (Holland Roden) moments. The pair's undeniable chemistry was so palpable, many fans have been vocal of their wish to see them together. It was Stiles who made sure that Lydia would be able to leave Eichen House safely. Davis told MTV News that they are weaving "a great Lydia-Stiles story" guaranteed to make "Stydia" fans happy.
Stiles just ended a long relationship with Malia (Shelley Hennig). They were together for quite a while, until the unexpected separation. No one could say if they fell out of love, but it was a mutual decision to break up. As Hennig has signed on for the upcoming installment of the series, viewers can expect to witness a lot of tension between the two girls.
"Teen Wolf" season 6 is expected to air sometime in June, but MTV has yet to comment on the said schedule.
