After the strenuous fight against the Ghost Riders to save one of their own, the Beacon Hills High School wolf pack will face another challenge when "Teen Wolf" returns for the second half of season 6.

At the end of episode 10, Scott (Tyler Posey), Malia (Shelley Hennig), and Lydia (Holland Roden) managed to rescue Stiles (Dylan O'Brien) from the hands of the Ghost Riders, who deliberately erased him from their memories.

When things went back to normal, both Scott and Stiles decided to think about their future after their high school graduation. The two were seen driving off from Beacon Hills after they closed a major chapter in their lives. This means that Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) must have to step up to be able to fill in their shoes.

In an interview with Hypable, series creator Jeff Davis revealed that Liam will struggle to become an Alpha in the upcoming episodes of "Teen Wolf" season 6B. "Very much stumbling his way into becoming a leader, and his insecurity about that as well," the series creator stated. "There is a new supernatural threat that occurs in Beacon Hills that does prey upon Liam's greatest weakness, which is his own fear and anger."

Davis also revealed that despite the end of the teenage years of Scott, Stiles, Malia, and Lydia in Beacon Hills, the series will still see them interact with the show's Next Generation wolf pack composed of Liam, Mason (Khylin Rhambo), Hayden (Victoria Moroles), and Corey (Michael Johnston).

The series creator also told Entertainment Weekly that the evolution of the characters will be featured in the second half of season 6. "6B is very much about Scott and his friends becoming outsiders again, becoming pariahs, and about fear of the other, fear of the outsider, which is also a reflection of our current cultural political climate," Davis also said.

MTV will air the remaining episodes of "Teen Wolf" season 6 in summer 2017.
