'Tekken 7' character roster, news, updates: Bandai Namco adds Kuma and Panda

Bears from the "Tekken" franchise are definitely not hibernating this December. It has recently been revealed that two characters named Kuma and Panda will be making their way into Bandai Namco Entertainment's "Tekken 7."

As revealed in a trailer for the fighting video game title, both the aforementioned characters will be making their debut in "Tekken 7" this December. Kuma is the pet of Mishima master Heihachi Mishima, who is also founder and commander of the Tekken Force unit. Kuma's master is still one of the most popular character s of the franchise. Meanwhile, Panda is Ling Xiaoyu's former bodyguard.

Which bear could be more powerful? Fans have to find out by playing the game. But players can also check out the teasers for the latest update. Aside from the clip that Bandai Namco released, which effectively teases both characters' fighting styles, the video game developers launched a bunch of stills or screenshots that players can go over.

Bandai Namco has also introduced new costumes and accessories for "Tekken 7." The latest additions will be part of the Kiwami or Ultimate campaign. Although most of the outfits are vastly outrageous, they can make the characters look more intimidating.

Dragunov dons a rather bizarre look in the campaign, as he fights in a waiter's outfit. To add, King wears an unconventional combination, a western vest that's paired with tights that Bandai Namco describes as heroic.

In the Kiwami campaign, Shaheen sports a new silver suit and pants, while Master Raven's latest getup screams purely business. Unlike these two, Lars wears a more laidback outfit, with his new vest and pants. Feng, on the other hand, takes the casual to a whole new level, with his new Hawaiian shirt.

Perhaps a few of the most intimidating outfits go to Leo, who gets to wear a battlesuit, and Gigas, who gets a new warrior body.

Like their recent character additions, Bandai Namco has posted several screenshots of the latest outfits and accessories in the "Tekken 7" campaign.

Watch out for more updates on "Tekken 7."
