'Tekken 7' news: Game director hopes for affordable price for PlayStation VR

The best known Japanese fighting game, "Tekken," has added a ninth installment to the series, "Tekken 7," which is currently running in Beta version. A director of Bandai Namco Entertainment, Katsuhiro Harada, who is also the producer of the fighting game, has developed "Tekken 7" to be compatible with the PlayStation VR, which is scheduled to be released soon. The PlayStation VR, though, does not have a specific release date yet.
Bandai had a limited arcade release for the game in Japan way back in February 2015. Then, just a month later, an unfinished release was held. The fighting game's updated title is "Tekken 7: Fated Retribution" with expanded features like, characters, items, costumes and stages. Gamers are surely excited to get their hands on this game with the upcoming VR gaming console from Sony.
Game director Harada has his own high hopes for an affordable price for Sony's upcoming PlayStation VR, especially since this would be the latest platform for "Tekken 7" that will be incorporating the Virtual Reality effect. Harada is hoping that the new gaming console from Sony will have a price range of $300 to $400. This price suggestion was first seen in a post from a fan's Twitter account, which Harada replied to.
I hope so. RT @YeezyDude PS VR shouldn't be more than 300-400 dollars though :)

Comparing Sony's upcoming VR gaming console to the recently developed and soon-to-be released Oculus Rift, which is also a virtual reality head-mounted display, the Rift will be priced $599 in the market. The gaming community then is waiting anxiously for the official price of Sony's version, eager to find out if it would be less or more expensive than the Oculus Rift.
A lot of gamers are likely agreeing with Harada's thoughts for the gaming console, not only because Harada is a huge name in the gaming industry, but also because a more affordable alternative is awaited.
Stay tuned for more updates.
