"The 100" season 3 is currently on a short break, but an intense and possibly game-changing episode is in store for fans when the show returns in a few weeks.

Fans of the post-apocalyptic drama were surprised when the previous episode focused more on Arkadia than on the upheaval that was certainly happening in Lexa's (Alycia Debnam-Carey) domain. Despite Clarke's (Eliza Taylor) absence, it was still a compelling episode that saw Kane's (Henry Ian Cusick) mutiny swiftly crushed. Pike's (Michael Beach) shocking decision to execute his former comrades appears to have brought Bellamy (Bob Morley) to his senses, but is it too late for him to make things right?

Fans will have to wait for two weeks to learn Kane, Sinclair (Alessandro Juliani), and Lincoln's (Ricky Whittle) fate, and for some, that might be the longest two weeks of their lives. Luckily, The CW has released a trailer and several photo stills to tide their fans over.

A sneak peek of episode 9, "Stealing Fire," teases that Bellamy might try and make amends for his recent actions. The clip starts with Kane telling Sinclair and the others that "we don't break, we don't show fear." Bellamy is seen approaching the cell where his fellow Arkadians are being held. He's later shown talking to someone and he appears to be making a plan to save Kane and the others. As Bellamy tells them Kane and his group can be saved but they have to work together, viewers are given a glimpse of Pike and his supporters. They have their guns drawn and appear to be ready for a fight. The scene transitions to Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) angrily telling her brother that he's the reason that Kane and the others needed saving in the first place. The short trailer ends with Abby (Paige Turco) promising Kane she "won't let this happen."

Octavia fans are no doubt happy that she's back in Arkadia as she might be able to talk some sense into her brother. The young woman had always supported Bellamy, but it seems his recent decision to side with Pike will finally lead to the sibling's falling out. In an interview with IGN, Avgeropoulos admitted that Bellamy and Octavia's "relationship is going to be forever changed." Trailers for the third season have even shown the siblings coming to blows.

Fans are understandably worried about Kane, Lincoln, and Sinclair's fates, given that the show had already killed off Lexa, a fan favorite. While Lincoln dying might not come as a big surprise, given that Whittle had already been cast as the lead in "American Gods" and is rumored to be leaving the show, but fans are hoping that Kane will remain alive longer.

Unfortunately, there's nothing that fans can do right now but be patient and wait.

"The 100" season 3 will return to The CW with episode 9 on March 31.
