Fans will finally see an uninhabitable Earth when "The 100" season 4 arrives, as A.L.I.E revealed in the previous installment that this is the new enemy Clarke and the others will now have to face.

While Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and her crew have faced many foes and also lived through so much toil and struggles, how will they manage to survive when they are in the face of death by the hands of nature?

Recent reports suggest that they will work on creating caves and living spaces underground so they can still survive the effects of extreme radiation. While this could be an effective plan for the team, they might also decide to move back into space, which is obviously the harder choice.

Living at sea may also be a more difficult option since radiation is expected to hit all areas above ground on Earth in "The 100" season 4. This could only leave Clarke and the Sky Crew with nothing but underground living as an alternative. Will they survive or will the nuclear threat penetrate the Earth and destroy them all?

Meanwhile, the upcoming installment is also expected to see Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) in a place where she's never been in. She will move to darker paths following the tragic death of Lincoln (Ricky Whittle), especially after discovering that her brother Bellamy (Bob Morley) was indirectly involved in her lover's death.

Aside from Octavia, Clarke's healing and recovery after Lexa's (Alycia Debnam-Carey) death is also expected to be highlighted. Some even speculate that she may be given a new love interest in "The 100" season  4. As always, most fans still want Bellamy for Clarke but this storyline remains in limbo as of now.

For now, fans can continue hoping that Clarke will have healed already by the time the new installment starts airing so chances for a new love can become a reality. The question is, who will it be? Is Bellamy the right one?

The CW has yet to announce an exact premiere date for "The 100" season 4 but many expect to see new episodes sometime early 2017.
