The upcoming episode of "The Big Bang Theory" season 10 will see Sheldon (Jim Parsons) angry and jealous that a geologist got the better of him.

The synopsis for the ninth episode, titled "The Geology Elevation," reveals that a Caltech geologist named Bert (Brian Posehn) will be awared the MacArthur Genius fellowship, which infuriates Sheldon. Fans know that Sheldon does not have a very good history with geology, considering that he sees the branch of science as less important and less challenging. Of course, with Bert winning the fellowship, Sheldon will become envious of him. Meanwhile, Howard (Simon Helberg) will find an old, remote-controlled action figure of Stephen Hawking that he invented.

A trailer for the new episode has also been released online. It teases Sheldon pouring his heart out to Leonard (Johnny Galecki). It is apparent that Sheldon is not all too pleased about Bert winning the fellowship. "I can't believe I was surpassed by a geologist," he says, hilariously adding, "If rock is so great, how come paper beats it?"

But as the trailer points out, "Professional jealousy can be hazardous." Sheldon is then seen limping into the apartment, with Leonard assisting him. Obviously in pain, he lies down on the couch and holds onto his foot. Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) come to his aid. He reveals that he accidentally threw a rock into his foot after he was overcome with anger. Penny then notices that Leonard's nose is bleeding and he informs her that it was merely the result of laughing too hard.

After finding out that he and Amy have stellar DNA, Sheldon decided to seduce his girlfriend into making a baby with him. Unfortunately, his seduction techniques didn't work. Meanwhile, Raj (Kunal Nayyar) found it difficult to tell his friends that the girl he's interested in is a cleaning lady because he's embarrassed. In the end, though, he managed to work it out with her and she agreed to go out with him.
