Fans are still trying to catch their breaths after Red and Liz were almost killed by Mr. Solomon's men in the previous episode. But now they're back hunting down the one person that might clear Liz's name. Meanwhile, Tom might be in a world of pain as he ends up in a brutal fight club in the hopes of saving his ex-wife.

Liz (Megan Boone) and Red (James Spader) found their backs against the wall in episode five, "Arioch Cain," as a hit was placed on Liz's head and various assassins try to collect the bounty on her. Red is working double time, trying to keep Liz alive while also worrying about Dembe (Hisham Tawfiq). Unknowingly betrayed by Mr. Vargas (Paul Reubens), Liz and Red goes to an airport hangar and are met by Mr. Solomon (Edi Gathegi) and several of his men. Before the Cabal's henchman can hurt Liz, Dembe arrives and begins shooting at the men. While he was able to save Liz and Red, Mr. Solomon was able to escape. They later discover that a young girl put the hit on Liz's head, believing that the ex-FBI agent was responsible for her mother's death. Liz convinces her otherwise and the contract is removed.

The episode appears to end well for everyone, with Liz safe, Red reunited with Dembe and Tom (Ryan Eggold) finding a way to get close to Sutton (Peter Vack) and learn more about Karakurt.

But the trailer for the upcoming episode, "Sir Crispin Randall," proves that safety is an illusion. The clip shows Red and Liz conferring with Dembe as they plan on how they can locate Andras Halmi, a trusted advisor of The Director (David Strathairn) and someone who might be able to exonerate Liz. But the Cabal is also putting the pressure on Mr. Solomon to finish off Red and Liz.

Meanwhile, a synopsis for episode six hints that Tom might end up in a vicious "Fight Club" while trying to infiltrate the Russian mob that's hiding Karakurt. It seems that Liz's ex-husband might be calling on everything that he has learned as a double agent if he wants to survive this and save Liz.
