The same news outlet reported that the pair were spotted in Yaletown doing another intimate scene. Barry might have been confessing his love for Iris, as there were lots and lots of flowers used to form a large heart and to spell out Iris' name.
Last, July 19, in a village in Vancouver, Cambie Village, the pair were spotted by fans doing another kissing scene for season 3 of the series. According to the report, the two were sitting on a porch talking, and Barry leaned in for a kiss.
If this is an alternate universe porch scene let me just go die now!!!
Fans have been suspecting that the scenes were for the alternate timeline in which season 3 is set. Details of this alternate timeline were revealed at the San Diego Comic-Convention (SDCC) last July 23. A trailer was released at SDCC, showing the repercussions of the Flash's actions in the previous season and revealing an altered universe.
In the previous season, the Flash's changing of the past caused a ripple in the timeline, thus, creating an altered timeline called "Flashpoint." In this timeline, characters as well as their relationships are now different. The trailer also unveiled a new Flash, and new villains in "Flashpoint."
The kid Flash Wally West will be played by Australian actor Keiynan Lonsdale. The actor is known for his role on ABC's "Dance Academy" series. Also joining the cast for "Flashpoint" is "Harry Potter" alum Tom Felton, who played the spoiled and wicked Draco Malfoy. In "Flashpoint," Felton will play the role of Julian Dorn, a crime scene investigator at the Central City Police Department. At the Comic-Con panel, Felton told audiences, "Any character I play, you should see as a threat." His role as a villain hasn't been confirmed, but he might as well be.
Executive producer Aaron Helbing told attendees at Comic-con that there will be two villains in "Flashpoint." One hasn't been revealed, but he confirmed that the villain will be a speedster. The second villain shown in the trailer, the man in the mask, is "a formidable adversary to the flash," the executive producer admitted. The villain goes by the name of Doctor Alchemy, and he will be voiced by "Saw" actor Tobin Bell.
According to Variety, one thing that remains the same in "Flashpoint" is Barry's encounter with the particular accelerator. Hence, in Flashpoint, Barry will still have his powers.
Todd Helbing, another executive producer of the show, assured audiences that the ripple in the timeline will also affect the shared universe of the DC shows. Hence, fans can expect some crossovers from "Arrow," "Legends of Tomorrow," and even "Supergirl." According to Todd, "Arrow" will have the most visible changes.
"The Flash" season 3 will premiere on Oct. 4, at 8 p.m. EDT, on The CW.
