Diane (Christine Baranski) will have trouble understanding her husband's decision over a very important matter in the upcoming episode of "The Good Wife."

In "Landing," CarterMatt reports that Kurt (Gary Cole) will surprise the lawyer with the news that he is selling his business. While Diane has been expecting him to retire soon and sell his bread and butter to someone worthy, she has no way of anticipating Kurt's startling choice. He has picked a longtime rival to be the buyer of his enterprise and Diane is horrified with his decision. Why, out of all people, has her husband picked Holly Westfall (Megan Hilty)? Diane will not rest until she has interrogated him.

The past episodes have been quite stressful for Diane. She has been working on a heist to oust Cary (Matt Czuchry) from the firm. For a long time now, the female attorney had envisioned an all-girl team. She already talked to Alicia (Julianna Margulies) about her plans, but the latter is yet to give her a definite answer. Diane told Alicia that they should buy Cary's shares in the firm. For her part, Alicia does not want to stab her friend in the back.

Meanwhile, Lucca and Alicia will fly to Toronto to represent a fellow American being detained by the Canadian customs officials. An agent for the National Security Agency named Jeff Dellinger (Zach Woods) is being held against his will as the neighboring country's officials will not let him re-enter the US. His lawyers will have to skillfully negotiate his release, as they cannot afford to lose such an important case.

Elsewhere, Assistant U.S. Attorney Connor Fox (Matthew Morrison) is very close to achieving his mission to put Peter (Chris Noth) behind bars. The politician is reportedly feeling the heat after his campaign manager, Eli (Alan Cumming) caved in to Fox's threats. Is it the end for Alicia's estranged husband?
