'The Originals' season 3 spoilers: Klaus taken hostage by Lucien and Aurora in episode 18 'The Devil Comes Here and Sighs'

(The CW)Klaus is taken hostage by Lucien and Aurora in 'The Devil Comes Here and Sighs.'

Klaus, having underestimated the power of his foes, falls captive in an all-new episode of "The Originals" titled "The Devil Comes Here and Sighs" airing this Friday night.

In the recently aired "Behind the Black Horizon," Lucien and Aurora were finally able to transform into original vampires, thus making them much more powerful threats to the Mikaelson family. Last week's episode saw Elijah and Finn travel to Mystic Falls to save their sister Freya who had been captured. Unfortunately, in the midst of battle, the Mikaelson siblings had to say good-bye to Finn, who was killed by Lucien.

The promo for the upcoming episode finds Klaus, Elijah, and Freya all dead-set on finally defeating Lucien. Klaus tracks him down in order to make him pay for what he has done. Unfortunately, Lucien is much more powerful now and is able to defeat Klaus. Klaus is then taken hostage by Lucien and Aurora.

The next episode's synopsis reveals that Elijah and Freya will have to face their enemies — with power that they have never seen before — in order to save their brother. Meanwhile, Hayley and Cami also work together to formulate their own dangerous plan to save Klaus.

Which duo will be able to reach Klaus first — Elijah and Freya or Hayley and Cami? Will we see more deaths done by Lucien and Aurora?

Also in the episode, Kol continues to act erratically due to having been cursed by the ancestors. Davina, feeling helpless, decides to turn to Marcel and Vincent for help.

"The Devil Comes Here and Sighs," with its action-packed and exciting storylines, will take place during the annual Jazz Fest of New Orleans. Thus, fans will surely be treated to a jazz-infused soundtrack in the upcoming episode.

Be sure to catch "The Devil Comes Here and Sighs" airing on Apr. 15.

Season 3 of "The Originals" airs every Friday at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
