'The Originals' season 3 spoilers: Elijah and Hayley to make love?

The CW's "The Originals" recently ended its second season, which saw Hayley and her pack being afflicted with the werewolf curse. Hayley and her pack will now remain as werewolves all the time, except on full moon days. Moreover, Klaus took down Aunt Dahlia, but it cost him his family, especially his once-loyal brother Elijah.
What can fans expect in the show's third season? Actors Daniel Gillies, who essays the role of Elijah, and star Charles Michael Davis, who plays vampire Marcel recently spoke to TVLine in an exclusive interview.
In line with the fans' expectations, Gillies also wants to see his character with Hayley, while Davis also expressed hope that Marcel would hook up with Rebecca (in any body). "I think his natural allegiance is turning more towards Hayley," said Gillies. "I would hope to see Elijah be less of a butler to his schizophrenic brother and more of his own force...in Season 3."
Gillies also stated that he'd love it if Elijah and Hayley finally make love. The two definitely have a chemistry and the Hayley-Jackson-Elijah love triangle had been one of the major highlights of season two. Although Hayley married Jackson, her and Elijah's love has so far been unrequited.
Meanwhile, actress Phoebe Tonkin made it clear to TVLine that her character Hayley was angry at Klaus because she wasn't in the know of his plans to take down Dahlia. "Hayley's not going to be able to forgive him easily for what he's done. Even if he did it for the good of his baby, I don't think he did it in the right way. He should have let Hayley know that's what he was doing so she could have been part of the plan. But he didn't do that, so now, (she's) pissed."
Fans who think Hayley's curse will mark her exit from the show need not be worried. Executive producer Michael Narducci has made it clear that she was an important part of the show and a search to find a cure for her curse would play out in season three.
"The Originals" returns this fall.
