Elijah (Daniel Gillies) will find himself teaming up with an unexpected ally in an upcoming episode of the hit series "The Originals."

According to TV Line, episode 17 will see Freya (Riley Voelkel) being kidnapped by some unknown foes. Her siblings will trace her to Mystic Falls, the Salvatore brother's town. Elijah will get help from Finn (Casper Zafer) to save her. Among the Mikaelsons, aside from his mother Esther (Sonja Sohn), only Freya understands Finn the most. He will do everything to keep her save, even if it means working together with a hated bloodline.

Elijah, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic) cannot stand to be near Finn. As far as they are concerned, their eldest brother can set himself on fire and die a thousand deaths for all they care. Finn wanted them all to go back to being witches. He did everything to help Esther succeed in the mission, but his siblings got the better of him in the end. If not for Freya, he would be dead. Instead, he spent all these years trapped in her talisman, waiting to be released once again.

In the promo for the upcoming episode titled "Alone with Everybody," Elijah and Finn's first meeting is not exactly a happy one. The former is still pissed, as he asks his older brother how is hell. Finn also looks ready to fight. There is also a scene where Elijah asks Freya why she brought back Finn. She tells him that it is time to fix whatever is broken in their family. Elijah scoffs at her reasoning, expressing her doubts about Finn wanting to reconcile with all of them.

As they both race to save Freya, Elijah and Finn will come face-to-face with Matt (Zach Roerig). The police officer recently proclaimed Mystic Falls vampire-free. He will certainly not let the Mikaelson brothers pass that easily. Will there be bloodshed? As much as Elijah does not want to harm humans, he may be forced to, as Freya needs his help. Matt is facing two desperate vampires. Will he bend the rule for a damsel in distress?

"The Originals" season 3 will return on Friday, April 1, at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW Network.
