Kol has returned to his risen body and confronts Finn about his death.

In a series where immortals abound, it is not surprising for characters to be resurrected after a seeming definite end. Actor Nathaniel Buzolic's character Kol may not have endeared himself to his brothers, but the viewers took a liking to him.

In an interview with Tv Line the actor shared "The fans of 'The Originals' and 'The Vampire Diaries' have been so passionate about wanting my character back in his natural body – or his real body, I should say. It's been so flattering for me."

Buzolic shared he feels playing a cheeky and naughty character is fun and he enjoys being unpredictable saying that kind of role is the most relatable to viewers. While Kol was still using the physical form of actor Daniel Sharman, the dynamics between his character and Davina have earned them followers. He was asked about creating chemisty with actress Danielle Campbell and he said, "We get along really, really well, which I think made it easy to find our chemistry."

Fans, though, may have to wait for the romantic arc if ever between the real Kol and Davina to unfold as the Mikaelson siblings have a lot on their plate. In the synopsis shared by TV Guide, "Dangerous foes descend upon New Orleans in an attempt to take down Klaus once and for all when rumors spread about the remaining white oak bullet. As the threats grow, Elijah urges his siblings to lay low at the compound while Marcel, Vincent and Josh chase down a lead involving a mysterious vampire named Sofya. Meanwhile, Kol is forced to face his brother Finn, the person responsible for his death; and Klaus and Hayley seek shelter with her former pack and stumble upon some unsettling news."

Although it is expected for Kol and Finn to go after each other, some fans speculate that they will eventually get together to defend their brother Klaus who now faces grave danger. Love and hate mechanics after all is not new to the Mikaelson siblings.

"The Originals" season 3 will resume on April 1 and the rest of the season promises to be action-packed.
