'The Originals' season 4 spoilers, update: grown-up Hope starts filming

The upcoming season of "The Originals" will see a lot of changes, including the rise of a new Mikaelson, Hope, who will be a beautiful little girl when the show returns.
When fans last saw baby Hope, she was still so small, but now, she's all grown-up and she may be the key to awaken her father Klaus (Joseph Morgan) from his pain-induced sleep, as predicted by many fans.
TV Line confirms that Summer Fontana will be playing the role of Hope in "The Originals" season four. She started filming last week and many have already noticed just how appropriate the child actress is to play the role of the great Niklaus Mikaelson's daughter whom he shares with Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin), who is a werewolf.
During the show's panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2016, Tonkin said of Hope, "I'm excited to see what kind of personality this little girl has. Even though she hasn't been around her dad for the last five years, I think there's a lot of Klaus in her - good or bad - and I'm excited to see that in this little powerful witch."
Based on Tonkin's comments, it can be safe to assume that Fontana's Hope will start exploring the extent and reach of her powers which are a perfect combination of Klaus and Hayley's abilities.
Being a hybrid, Hope will most likely display excellent abilities in terms of speed, strength, and she might also be gifted with Aunt Freya's (Riley Voelkel) healing capacities. There's definitely a lot to look forward to when the only child of Klaus debuts in "The Originals" season four.
Meanwhile, it is also expected that Hope will play a role in the awakening of Klaus after he was stabbed by Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) and was cursed to a pain-induced coma. Hayley and Hope are the only people who can save not just Klaus but also the other Mikaelsons, whose lives are dependent on him. If Klaus dies, so will the rest of his family.
Is Hope the hope of her clan? Will her powers be enough to conquer the curse of Papa Tunde's blade? Watch the SDCC 2016 trailer of "The Originals" below.
"The Originals" season four is expected to premiere January 2017.
