The finale of "The Originals" season three has left fans wondering what would be next for the Mikaelsons, specifically Klaus, whose life is the bloodline of his siblings.

There is not a lot of choices left for Klaus (Joseph Morgan) after he received Papa Tunde's Blade right into his chest during that fateful confrontation with his once favored son, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis). Now that he's in a pain-induced coma and his siblings are relying on him for their dear lives, it's easy to conclude that once he awakens and frees himself from the bonds of Papa Tunde's curse, he will avenge the Mikaelson clan.

In a recent interview with TV Insider, Morgan revealed that there will be war between him and Marcel when "The Originals" season four arrives. "The Mikaelsons wrestled New Orleans from Marcel when they returned to the city [in the pilot], and now he's taken it back. This could be the beginning of a war! There will be a score to settle, for sure," he explained.

Based on the actor's remarks, it can be safe to assume that his character will once again revert back to that monster who stepped into New Orleans some years back, especially now that Cami (Leah Pipes) has passed away and there's no one to control his evil side.

Morgan admitted that Cami's death will greatly affect Klaus, considering that she was the person who changed Klaus into a more humanly being even with his selfish side. On the other hand, the actor clarified that there's still "hope" for Klaus. "As long as he has his daughter in his life, there's hope for him. Quite literally," he said.

Summer Fontana has been cast to play the seven-year-old Hope, who has not seen her father for the past five years. The five-year time jump will prove to be a struggle for Klaus when he returns to the real world since he has a mission of revenge to accomplish in "The Originals" season four and yet he also has to make up for the time lost between him and his daughter.

"The Originals" season four premieres sometime early 2017.
