Anything is possible when "The Originals" season four premieres, and the most recent talk in town is who exactly will raise Klaus from his painful slumber.

In the previous season, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) was put in a pain-induced coma by Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) after the latter vowed to make the Mikaelsons pay for killing Davina (Danielle Campbell).

Though fans initially believed that Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) will be the only hope to get Klaus and the rest of the Mikaelsons out of their suffering, recent reports suggest that there could be someone else aside from Hayley.

According to Inquisitr, executive producer Michael Narducci may have previously teased about the potential storyline for Klaus' awakening. The outlet points out that fans have already been assured of Marcel's intentions - that he is for the common good - and this could mean that he will be the person to get Klaus out of his trance.

While Marcel was the one who placed Klaus in his pain-induced sleep, anything could happen in television, and in Klaus' case, anyone, even his enemies, could help him.

In an interview with TV Guide in May, Narducci appeared to be hinting of a twist in "The Originals" season four. "Maybe there's some other person that's going to get Klaus out. Maybe Klaus will get himself out. Maybe someone is going to decide that there's a big problem in the world and Klaus Mikaelson is the only person that can help us deal with it," he said.

Narducci's comments may be connected to Marcel's present status in New Orleans as the newly-crowned leader. It's inevitable that his new-found fame will attract enemies from other realms and this could mean trouble since he has yet to establish his kingdom. The only possible situation that will make Marcel get Klaus out of his tomb is when he realizes that he is faced with an enemy bigger than himself and his people.
