'The Walking Dead' season 6 spoilers: Morgan's journey featured in episode 4; a new face and new setting coming next episode
Fans of "The Walking Dead" are still shell-shocked over the unexpected and violent death of a fan favorite last episode. The next episode appears to be giving fans time to mourn by focusing on Morgan's backstory in "Here's Not Here." Meanwhile, a very short synopsis for it tells of a new character appearing and trust issues showing.
There's been a dearth in information regarding the next few episode of "The Walking Dead's" sixth season, with episode four being summarized by "Spoilers Guide" simply as "a new character and a new setting will be introduced."
At this point, fans are wary as to who this new character is; it could be either Jesus or Negan, who is rumored to be appearing this season. But whether he will be accepted by fans is still debatable as the show's fans are still occupied with their own version of a Jon Snow-esque "Is Glenn really dead or will he survive?" mystery.
A teaser clip for next episode was devoid of clues as it focused solely on Morgan (Lennie James), starting with a shot of him practicing his moves, followed by scenes of the time he was holed up in Rick's (Andrew Lincoln) old town and him standing before a bonfire. Throughout it all, Morgan can be heard saying "You have to redirect those thoughts by moving forward. To still accept what we were, with a call to never do it again. To protect everyone. To create peace."
It certainly is a telling message as Morgan was unable to protect his wife and child. But how he'll be able to hold on to his new point of view, particularly after the vicious attack of the Wolves on Alexandria, remains to be seen.
Fans are wondering how Glenn's (Steven Yeung) seeming death will affect both his family and the people of Alexandria, who have only just tasted what kind of world is behind their walls.
The apparent demise of everyone's favorite pizza delivery boy has caused a big controversy, with fans searching for proof that Glenn is still alive.
The best that "The Walking Dead's" showrunner Greg Nicotero could do when he talked to "TV Guide" was to say that fans will see the character again this season "but in what capacity we don't know."
Episode four of "The Walking Dead" season six will air on Nov. 1 on AMC.
