'The Walking Dead' season 7 spoilers: Harold Perrineau tapped to play Ezekiel?

Weeks after the sixth season of "The Walking Dead" wrapped up, fans are still a little bit too excited and a little bit too agitated for the season seven premiere that should reveal which character has been killed off.
For Norman Reedus, all the emotions will be worth it once the show returns.
Speaking to TV Line, the actor who plays Daryl explained that all the waiting and anticipation will be worth it once the series returns. "I will definitely 100-percent say that it's well worth the wait. It's large. It's mind-blowing," Reedus said.
Reedus went on to tease that a whole lot of changes will be seen once fans finally discover who ended up dead under Negan's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) hands. Though the season six finale was devastating for many who clasped their hands when Negan raised the baseball bat covered in barbed wire, it seems viewers will be appeased when season seven premieres.
"It's a completely brand-new world right now. It's very exciting. And it's emotional. And then it's overwhelming and emotional!" Reedus added.
Fans have been demanding for someone from production to at least give some hints on which cast member has been killed, but Reedus further explained that it would only hurt the storyline as well as the emotions that should be ignited if someone had a slip of the tongue.
Meanwhile, the series' fan community has recently turned its attention to the new character who will be introduced in the upcoming installment. Not much is known about this new guy, except for his name - Ezekiel.
In the comic series, Ezekiel proclaims himself as the king of "The Kingdom." What's amazing about "King" Ezekiel is he has a strong distaste towards Negan and his troop, and the television drama could possibly depict the story of his collaboration with Rick (Andrew Lincoln), Paul (Tom Payne), and Dwight (Austin Amelio) in hopes of defeating Negan.
According to Design & Trend, it is rumored that Harold Perrineau has been tapped to play Ezekiel as he was spotted in the vicinity of the hit show's set. Though it has yet to be confirmed if Perrineau will indeed be playing Ezekiel, many agree that he is a good choice.
Eagle-eyed social media users also noticed that the actor recently followed Robert Kirkman on Twitter. Kirkam is the creator of "The Walking Dead" so it was easy for followers to conclude that Perrineau may now be part of the cast.
However, in a recent Twitter post, Perrineau denied he was part of the show.
Hey @WalkingDead_AMC fans...as much as I love the show...I'm not a part of it.
