'Tokyo Ghoul' season 3 release date, plot spoilers: Touka continues journey in choosing a university

"Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 has just been greenlit but it is said that there will be changes to the animated series, particularly with its animation studio.
According to Anime Maru, season 3 has been confirmed to be released in winter this year. Madhouse Entertainment is also set to helm the animated series as Studio Perriot steps down from the responsibility.
Madhouse is expected to bring life to the series in a much better way than Studio Perriot did, since the first two seasons were considered to be disappointing by most loyal comic book fans.
Meanwhile, season 3 is expected to continue focusing on Touka's journey to college as she tries to choose which university to go to. It also remains a mystery if Touka will still sport white hair when the show ends. Touka is said to stress over choosing between To-Oh University, Duke University and Kamii University.
Generally, "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 is bound to have "the most disillusioning, psychological and darkest plot line" according to the anime's writer known only as Bob. "We hope to remain as faithful as possible to the source material, although we cannot guarantee that more gory scenes such as Touka's standardized exam test-taking will not be censored," Bob added.
Apart from this teaser, there are rumors suggesting that season 3 will feature the battle between Kaneki and Arima. If the series will stay true to the manga, these two characters should fight it out all for the sake of glory and love.
Although it has already been said that the new season will be out by winter season, it is predicted that there would be a delay in the premiere. Reportedly, the animation studio will be focusing their attention on the live-action feature of "Deathnote," which is expected to be out by summer 2017.
Fans should expect more updates about "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 to surface in the coming months.
